Hyderabad, Oct 4 (PS): A 81-year-old renowned film producer Edida Nageswara Rao has passed away on Sunday at a private hospital undergoing treatment for old-age related ailments.
He was admitted in a private hospital here last week. He was popular with legendary director K Vishwanath and the duo made six films together including Sankarabharanam, Swati Mutyam and Swayam Krushi.
Edida was born on April 24, 1934 in Kotha Peta village of East Godavari district. His films won several national awards and he was also nominated for Dada Saheb Phalke Award.
